An episode is a major content update that expands the game's world, raises the level cap, and may introduce new classes or systems — the series runs from EP1 to EP28 and beyond. The episode a private server runs on determines which content, dungeons, and characters are available.
Early episodes offer the original six classes with a tighter, more focused progression system, while later episodes add new classes, expanded maps, and higher level caps that open up additional build possibilities. Players who prefer a classic feel often gravitate toward lower episode servers.
Preferences vary across the private server community, but projects tend to cluster around episodes that offer a well-rounded class roster and stable content without the complexity of the most recent additions. The specific episodes available are listed in each server's description.
The original six classes — Warrior, Blader, Wizard, Force Archer, Force Shielder, and Force Blader — have been present since launch, while Gladiator was added around EP11, Force Gunner around EP17, and Dark Mage around EP28. A server running an earlier episode will not have the newer classes available.
